MBA554, Project Management
This MBA course covers Project management from an Agile perspective. The course allowed me to supervise a mock project, collaborate effectively on a team, and learn the principles of project management. Overall, this was one of the most impactful courses I took at NCSU.
Project Management Principles
We used MS project to generate an understand multiple critical aspects of project management: Gantt Charts, Work breakdown structures, slack analysis, and earned value analysis.
Each of these skills will drastically increase my effectiveness as a project manager.
Mock Project
My team had the prilvelge of performing a mock non-profit project designed to donate 1,000,000 books to Gautemalan schools by a 2 year time objective. My team successfully forecasted scheduling and resource requirements, including navigation of a simulated black swan event.
