A passion for science met me at a young age, and experiences over my life have deeply strengthened my appreciation for the concrete discipline. I obtained a B.S. in Applied Biotechnology from the University of Georgia, as well as the certainty that biotechnology will drastically change the world in the next few decades. My professional and educational experiences created my conviction to pursue biotechnology entrepreneurship, and my experiences in the MMB program will broaden my skillset to pursue biotechnology entrepreneurship. I hope to eventually start a biotechnology company focused on heterologous expression of commercially relevant substances.
