Ben Jones's MMB Internships
MMB students seek out at least one internship between their Spring 1 semester and Fall 2 semester. I had the opportunity to work with Avazyme in the Spring, and I am currently working with Vestaron presently. Both opportunities provided impactful lessons for my professional development.
Avazyme
Biotechnology Consultant
In this internship, I supported process development and business development around emerging agricultural analytical science. I worked closely with Avazyme and its clients to provide solutions and optimizations to hemp processing and quality analysis. While I cannot share my reports delivered, I would be happy to connect and talk more about my position at Avazyme. I included my presentation given to the MMB class after my internship concluded.
Vestaron
Business Development Intern
In this role, I find myself supporting business development initiatives by investigating opportunities in new markets, continuously uncovering competitive intelligence, and coordinating outreach to relevant company members/industry KOLs.
